Alternative: Using Two Different Types of Toilet Paper Holders
I am always looking for an easy way to install a toilet paper holder without screws. I had read that you can simply just put the holder on the wall and it will hold itself in place. However, I could not find any good effective DIY how-to articles on this so I did some research and found out that there are 2 ways to do this.
1. Using Self Adhesive Toilet Paper Holder
A self-adhesive toilet paper holder is ideal for those who are unable to install their preferred type of fixings. This type of holder attaches itself with no screws or drilling required and saves lots of headaches because it doesn’t damage the wall surprising you in the process!
Installation Process
Do not need to drill, just scrape the installing surface (which must be a slick surface, such as ceramic tile, metal surface, glasses, etc.) and dry it. If it’s a new ceramic tile, wipe it clean with alcohol and peel off the protective layer in the back and place it on the wall; it’ll take a few seconds to push. To assure, rest it for 24 hours.
Note: Limestone walls, wallpaper, and painted walls are not suitable for a self-adhesive toilet paper holder.
2. Using Toilet Paper Holder Stand
Toilet paper holder stands are a good option for both of the previous methods, as it saves you time and money! It also won’t require any glues, screws, drills, or other tools. You can put it just beside the toilet seat.
Commonly, most of the toilet paper holder stands do not have a lid or cover so, it needs to be placed a little far from water resources but put around the place that can make you comfortable and easy to reach. There are many different designs and sizes of toilet paper holder stand in the market. Just pick one that fits you and your purpose.
